Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Presented Home Staging ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and staging consultation service (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

Account information: name, email address, password (encrypted), and optionally your company or brokerage name.

Property and consultation information: property addresses, an optional nickname for your own reference, listing notes you provide, and any notes you add per room.

Photos: images you upload of properties for staging analysis. These may depict interior and exterior spaces and, incidentally, personal belongings visible in the home.

Payment information: processed by our third-party payment provider, Square; we do not store full payment card numbers ourselves.

Usage information: basic technical data such as browser type and access times, collected automatically.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Generate and deliver staging consultations, including sending your photos and listing notes to our AI provider (Anthropic) for analysis
• Allow our team to review and finalize reports before delivery
• Process payments
• Send you service-related notifications (e.g. "your report is ready")
• Improve and maintain the Service

3. AI processing

Photos and listing information you upload are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate staging recommendations. This processing is used solely to produce your consultation report. Under our agreement with Anthropic, data we submit through the API is not used to train Anthropic's models. If our agreement with Anthropic ends, Anthropic will delete all copies of that data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law, necessary to resolve a dispute, or necessary to combat harmful use of their services.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• With service providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, database, payment processing, AI analysis, email delivery)
• If required by law, subpoena, or legal process
• With your consent

5. Photos of third-party property

Because staging photos may depict homes belonging to your clients, you are responsible for having appropriate permission to upload and share those photos with us. We use uploaded photos only to generate your consultation and do not use them for any other purpose without your consent (e.g. marketing) unless you separately opt in.

We do not use photos for facial recognition or identification purposes, even if people incidentally appear in them. We recommend avoiding photos with identifiable people where possible.

6. Data retention

We retain your account information and consultation reports for as long as your account is active, so you can access your staging reports at any time. Uploaded photos are retained for 60 days after your consultation report is delivered, then automatically deleted. Your staging report itself (the text/PDF deliverable) remains accessible in your account indefinitely, even after the source photos are removed.

If you close your account, we will delete your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.

7. Your choices

You may:

• Access and update your account information at any time by logging in
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us
• Opt out of non-essential email communications

We will respond to privacy-related requests (access, correction, deletion) within 45 days.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (including encrypted storage and access controls) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here, with an updated "last updated" date.
