I'm a realtor in the Midwest, and I've seen it enough times to know it's not a coincidence: staged homes sell faster, and they sell for more.

The problem is, staging always felt like a luxury — something for a certain price point, not something every listing gets. And the sellers who could use the guidance most are often the ones who never get it: first-time sellers, people selling on a tight timeline, someone juggling a move around work and kids who doesn't have hours to research it themselves.

There's another problem too, one every realtor knows: telling a client their home needs work is uncomfortable. Nobody wants to be the one pointing out the clutter, the mismatched decor, the room that just doesn't photograph well — especially when it's someone's home, not just a listing.
